We, the founding members of OpenGeoCity Tanzania, driven by a shared vision of harnessing the power of spatial data and geospatial technologies for sustainable development and environmental management, hereby establish this non-governmental organization. With a firm belief in the potential of open data and data-driven decision-making, we strive to empower individuals and organizations in Tanzania to effectively utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies for spatial planning, sustainable agriculture practices, and environmental conservation.
